Science, Engineering, Math, and BS Economics

Students in these majors will follow the MATH 30 track.

To be eligible for MATH 30 (Calculus I) the student must meet one of the following:

• MATH 19 (Precalculus), with a grade of B or better, or an approved equivalent college course found online at SJSU Articulation
• MATH 18A (College Algebra) and MATH 18B (Trigonometry) with a grade of B or better, or an approved equivalent college course found online at SJSU Articulation
• Satisfactory score on the PPA
